Hello and Welcome to our blog. This is a story of our little family, with our most cutie, happy and loud crying baby boy, Renzo Jon. He is exactly 118 days today. Our Renzo was born through normal delivery at 7.46am on December 6, 2020 by his very brave mother. Delivered at 2.560 kilos and 48cm.
It was one big event for us parents.
Kim was already having pains at 4pm that day. She knew that it's not yet the time to go to the hospital. We ate dinner and she walked a few steps at the front yard to exercise afterwards. The pain continued and she started monitoring the pain interval. If it's 5 minutes apart we're going straight to the hospital.
As first time parents, everything is new to us. Although my wife is in the medical field but we're still not an expert at this.
My wife continually monitoring her contraction pain interval. 3 hours into sleep, at around 12 midnight, my wife woke me up. It's time to go to the hospital. I picked up our prepared bags to the car and drove to the hospital. There was no cars in the road, it's good thing that we're going at this hour. We traveled 30 kilometers in just a few minutes minutes. Just in time.
We didn't have enough cash when we arrived at the hospital so we thought of withdrawing cash from an ATM at the hospital. However, it didn't have cash to dispense. We drove to another ATM about 1km from where we are. Overall we spent around 20 minutes to circling around just go get the money to sign up for admission.
My wife is admitted at the labor department quickly. When she was examined, she's at 5cm. I was waiting at the room the whole time (covid era). At 6am, she's at 10 cm. At 7.46am, our baby boy was born. My wife and son were wheeled to our room at quarter 10am.
Seeing my son for the first time was the best experience.
